In addition, we sometimes collect anonymous information from visits to the CloudAmp Site to help us provide better customer service and to make the CloudAmp Site as user friendly as possible. For example, we keep track of the domains from which people visit and we also measure visitor activity on CloudAmp Site. However, when we do so, we do so in ways that keep the information anonymous. CloudAmp may use this data to analyze trends and statistics and to help us provide better customer service. None of the information described in this paragraph is reviewed at an individual level.
We use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. We use session cookies to make it easier for you to navigate our site. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time. You can remove persistent cookies by following directions provided in your Internet browser's "help" file. We use persistent cookies to store a unique cryptographic hash value, so you don't have to enter username/password more than once on a given computer. The information stored does not contain any personally identifiable information.
We employ or our third party advertising partner employs a software technology called Clear gifs (aka Web Beacons/Usage Analytics), that help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user's computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. We do not tie the information gathered by clear gifs to our customers' personally identifiable information.
The CloudAmp Site may contain links to other Web sites. CloudAmp is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites. The links from a CloudAmp Site do not imply that CloudAmp endorses or has reviewed the third party Web sites. We suggest contacting the operators of those Web sites directly for information on their privacy policies.
If you choose to invite others to a report or dashboard within your organization, we will ask you for the other user's name and email address. We will automatically send him/her a one-time email inviting him/her to visit the site. CloudAmp stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email and tracking the success of our referral program.
If you use a blog or forum on this Web site, you should be aware that any personally identifiable information you submit there can be read, collected, or used by other users of these blogs and forums, and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for the personally identifiable information you choose to submit in these blogs and forums. Customer Testimonials
We post customer testimonials on our web site, which may contain personally identifiable information. We do obtain the customer's consent via email prior to posting the testimonial to post their name along with their testimonial.
CloudAmp is not in the business of selling your Personal Information. We consider this information to be a vital part of our relationship with you. There are, however, certain circumstances in which we may share your Personal Information with certain third parties without further notice to you, as set forth below:
